IT CAN HAPPEN HERE is a collection of photographs that bear witness to a moment of heightened fear and uncertainty in America.

Rooted in the streets of Los Angeles, the collection emerges from two decades of photographing protest and civil unrest.

The work confronts the demand for justice and the rage embedded in the American psyche. Through binaries and symbols it renders an urgent portrait of a nation on a knife’s edge.

Exhibited in prints, immersive projections, and site-specific sculptures in Los Angeles.
